Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines a variety of strokes such as rolling, kneading, effleurage, and light stretching to help the body improve its circulation and decrease muscle tension. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, and greater flexibility, among others. Each massage will be customized to the your own needs and areas of focus.
Swedish Massage can be customized easily for those who are pregnant, elderly, or otherwise limited by use of additional pillows and adjustment of pressure.

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle technique that allows for greater flow of cerebrospinal fluid throughout the brain and spine. As we know, the spine houses the nerves for our entire body, so when we have muscle tension and pain, an underlying cause may be that our cerebrospinal fluid is not flowing well. There are three main ways a therapist can feel if the flow is good: strength of flow, equal flow, and rhythm. If any of these is compromised, there are techniques to restore balance. This therapy is for those interested in energy work and releasing tension in a safe and comfortable environment. The client remains clothed the entire time, and only very light pressure is used on the feet, legs, spine, torso, face, and cranium.

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages and restore your vital life force energy. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct energy when in-person, but this can also be done online via Distance Reiki in which I connect to your energy body from a distance. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.
Stretch sessions are 30 or 60 minutes paired before a massage session or as a stand alone appointment. You will need to wear flexible clothing such as you would for a yoga class, and your stretch therapist will guide and assist you in head to toe stretches. Regular stretch therapy can increase mobility, flexibility, and can help improve your posture.
Massage Cupping is a modern adaptation of the ancient art of cupping therapy. While massage performed by applying pressure, cupping instead uses negative pressure to pull, lift, open and expand the body’s soft tissues.
